E000 means the heater lamp in fixing unit is faulty (probably blown). It is not a difficult operation, however, if you do not have practice servicing the machine, it may require a qualified technician to fit a new one.

Here is a reseller for usa that delivers worldwide.

Here is same solution for same problem on a similar model.
e000 on canon copier is a heating problem, sometimes it just fixex itself resetting the machine. Try hard reset disconnecting from power outlet 20 minutes, and then try reset procedure from manual. If all this does not work, then generally it is the heater orjust the termistore to be changed.

Here is resetting procedure for canon d880:
    Press "Additional
Functions", press "#", then press the "Right Arrow" button till it
says, "Printer", then press "Set" then press the "Right Arrow" button
again until it says "Printer Reset" then press "Set" again, the display
will ask you "Yes" or "No". Press the "Left" arrow for "Yes", then
press "Set". Now, unplug the power cord and wait 5 seconds and plug
back in. If this don't work, get a new fuser.

Here is canon customer service troubleshooting page.

    E000, E001, E002, E003 CODES

To reset these codes perform the following:

Remove the front panel and be careful not to bend or break the flexible

cable connected to the panel and the DC Controller.

Turn on the copier and short the jumper wires JP3 and JP4 on the dc

    controller pcb with a screwdriver.

The count ratio indicator on the control panel turns on 'F'. When 'F'

is turned on stop shorting the jumper wires

Turn off copier and turn it back on and its then reset.

I BOUGHT A USED RICOH AFICIO COLOR 3006 COPIER FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA YESTERDAY. WHEN I TURN THE COPIER ON, I GET AN ERROR CODE SC456. WHAT DOES IT MEAN AND HOW DO I FIX IT?

Hi there

The error code 456 - Paper transfer unit position error.
If you cannot find any jammed paper in the unit, you may need a Ricoh service guy to give it just that. A good service

Copier reset procedure.

hi fixya180,

It seems that the error code 541 (which indicates a problem with the heating unit thermistor in the machine), cannot be reset by the user for safety reasons, ref;
http://savin.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/savin.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=7081&p_created=1102093227&p_sid=9TrLDc-i&p_accessibility=0&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PWRmbHQmcF9ncmlkc29ydD0mcF9yb3dfY250PTQzNiZwX3Byb2RzPTI1MTAsMjUxNCZwX2NhdHM9MCZwX3B2PTIuMjUxNCZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9ZXJyb3IgY29kZQ**&p_li=&p_topview=1

This error requires service support from your local authorized dealer or original point of purchase. You say that you've verified the functionality of your fuser unit; then a authorized Savin printer technician will probably just have to reset the error code of your copier.

Hope you find this info helpful in solving the problem and thanks for using the FixYa service
Kind regards

Konica Minolta C6500 Error Message

There is a paper somewhere in the copier. Maybe earlier you have a paper jam and one paper or just a part of the paper is still in the copier.

Most likely the paper is near the imaging unit.

Waste tank near full

Hi
The waste ink take is actually just a felt pad that sits under the printer mechanism inside the case and absorbs the ink from your cleanings

Try this:
1 Power off printer
2 Hold RESUME button then press and hold POWER. (The beeper MAY sound once, or may not depending on your model.)
3 Hold POWER and Release RESUME.
4 Press RESUME twice then release both POWER and RESUME buttons.
5 When the indicator lights steady, press RESUME 4 times (for the S900, 3 times for the 8200 apparently).
6 Press power to set data.
7 Print away!

Let me know if that didnt solve your problem
