log in to the facebook account you want to deactivate. go into the help option and type in deactivate acccount and it will give you the instructions.

Actually Facebook gives help for deleting your profile forever. One of the things you have to keep in mind, is after deleting you must not access the account for 14 days in a row, or else it will be reactivated again.

Try talking to him, instead of hacking into his personal accounts.

From the log on screen where you would normally type in your password ... there is a link right under that "forgot password" ... click that and provide the email address you provided when you set up your account and they will send you instructions to that account for logging on. If you do not have that information they will not be able to help you and you will need to open a new account. If it were any easier people would be hacking into other peoples acccounts all the time.

And make sure that you have access to the e-mail service you used to register with the Facebook.
Also, you can use "friends recognizer" option to prove you're the owner.

No it is not normal check whether your facebook account has been hacked. If you remember your email id with which you have registered on facebook try resetting the password for your facebook acccount
