Anyways, I got it from my cousin last night, and when I turned it on, the light come on, and then went off and it said "Device Error: 373 - Reset, I was wondering if you could help me with this problem, and when it said that this is common, and you have to pay the chat session ASAP, what did that mean, I was confused, lol I'm 15 BTW anyways, help would be greatly appriciated, thank you Cody

Take the battery out of the phone and look at the model in there. It sounds like a 7290, but I am not sure. I am looking at a blackberry just like the one you describe.

I can suggest you go to www.blackberry.com and download the version for desktop manager and re-install your blackberry operating software...

Good luck!

My blackberry 8100 will not cut on, it's showing a battery sign

This might happens because the battery of the Handheld is not compatable with the Handheld. Kindly check the battery with the other Handheld if it is working fine then there might be an Hardware issue with your Handheld you need to walk into the service center.

We suggest you to reinstall the software and check the handheld. If you face the same problem even after reinstalling the software, you need to visit the outlet where you have purchased the handheld to service the handheld.

RIM BlackBerry 7100v Handheld(vodafone)

You need to download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.
