Crossed wires My actual product is not listed; it is a tv/dvd Dynex DX-R20TR. The dvd players tray was off track so for some reason I thought I would be able to fix it. Well I think I did only I had to unplug a few wires to get it out and now I forgot where I unplugged them from. I thought I had them in the right spot. Does the tv have to be completely back together in order to work or are the wires def. all messed up. Is there a diagram that shows which plug goes where? I'm usually pretty good at these kinds of things but this one has me a little stumped. Please help

I have a Dynex TV & a Dynex DVD player, Lost the remote to the DVD player but I have a PHDVD5 universal remote that I'd like to use for them both, or AT LEAST the DVD player. I just don't know...

TV code is 115

Will not find a code for the DVD player though. Im not sure which model you have, but Dynex will send you to MCM Electronics for original replacement parts, that is their provider. Check out www.mcmelectronics.com or give them a call at 888-235-4692 to see if they have your remote. Remotes for the models DX-DVD2 and DX-UPDVD2 are both listed for $4.99 plus shipping.

I have a DYNEX DX-R20TR, is this tv digital ready?

Hi dlcase777,
Good news, your TV has both Digital and analog tuners. You will only need an antenna to recieve digital OTA (over the air) signals.
I have provided a link for information on antenna types and the channels you will be able to recieve.

Universal Remote Code for Dynex 20" TV/DVD

I just bought a 32" dynex lcd and saw that i couldn't program my two $5 ge remotes to work it. From reading in this forum and others I'm not the only one with the problem, I thought I was stuck with only the dynex remote. But the dynex website tells you how to get universal remotes to work,
It tells you to try the codes for Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania, Zenith. The second orion code worked for me. both my ge remotes look and work the same but one uses a four digit code and the other uses a three digit code. I used 0135 on one and 135 on the other. There is a good chance that if you try the codes for the brands dynex lists you will find one that works. The 0135 or 135 might work for most dynex tv's.
If you have a ge remote and haven't programmed it for volume punch through you might try it. It allows the tv volume to be controlled using the ge remote even when it's set to something other than tv.
