IT WON'T STOP BEEPING!

My range is beeping, sounds like the timer going off, but it will not let me cancel or use the main oven. All of the top elements work but i have to unplug it to stop the annoying sound. Please help if you can. Ms. Love

This thing is crazy.it has a mind of its own.the START light will flash and it will 'BEEP' anywhere from 3 to 20 times, and then stop for a few minutes.this goes on for hours. It will do this about twice a week. If i use it ,it will stop, but after i turn it off it will continue (if it wants to).Sometimes using the pre-heat or cleaning cycle will fix the problem but only sometimes..this thing has a mind of its own
model#MEF352CGSA i cant find it here

Unit statred beeping on and off for over aweek. It would stop and restart. Every thing seemed to work ok until I tried to use the oven. NADA. The broiler worked but clock did not. Finally it stopped all together and gave and F7 EA and EC fault codes. This is the second unit I have owned the first was also 16 months old and the wqarrany was out. It was going to cost over $400.00 to fix. I just assumed it was a lemon so I found another new one from Home Depot for $360.. Now 7 months after warranty expired just l ike the other it also failed I this designed obsolescence? What is wrong is it the panel or the ECR? How about a new part that fixes the problem at reduced cost

The relay to your beeping must be bad. It could be due to moisture build up for some time. The beeper could also be connected to an electronic board. In most cases that happens to a board when heat and cold mix perhaps shorting the relay to cause it to stay stuck allowing your beeper not stop beeping. Relay should be attached to the switch panel of your stove.

I had that issue with my oven but turned it off at the meter box for 30 mins and it fixed it. It seems to be caused by electricity surges/power outages

power surges can short out the electonics in appliances. If you can locate where the tech sheet is and I would say its behind the control panel on top, look at the wiring diagram and see if there are any replaceable fuse's. Or a resetable fuse for the heating element. If not check to see if power is getting to the main control bord. If there is power there you may need to replace the control.

Could be a stuck keypad. Try pressing all pads at random several times each to clear it.
If that does not work the ERC(clock) must be replaced.

Fisher double oven OD302. Periodically it will start beeping, shut off with no default code

Oven keeps beeping:
As there is no reprogramming of most control boards try this, disconnect the power and wait 30 seconds and then reconnecting the power.

If it's an "F1" fault code this generally implies an electronic oven control (EOC) failure. Disconnect the power, wait 30 seconds or longer and then reapply power. If "F1" returns upon power-up, replace the electronic oven control.
The oven control can be accessed and replaced from the rear of the control panel.

NOTE:Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the panel from behind the console.
If its an F2 ERROR CODE, The F2 error indicates an open circuit in the oven temperature probe.

Your range has a resettable thermostat in series with the oven temperature probe. If this thermostat opens the clock will display F2 and the oven won't heat.
You can reset the thermostat by pushing in the reset button on top of the thermostat.
Some ovens have an alarm that will beep continuously every six seconds to alert you that the oven is still on. Usually, a kitchen timer that you have set will cause the beeping, but occasionally it can be an error with the oven's settings. If it is the kitchen timer, you can simply push the "Kitchen Timer On/Off" button to end the continuous beeping. If that does not stop the beeping, it is probably beeping due to an error. You can turn the continuous beeping off but you may still need to troubleshoot the issue that is causing the beeping noise.
