Reset password

You can't reset the password if this is a PC or laptop (you failed to give that information), you must format the hard drive by using the factory/recovery restore disc. If you don't have the restore/recovery disc's you can purchase them for a small fee (less than $25.00) from the parts dept of the PC/Laptop manufacturer. If this is not a computer please let me know

Sir i wish to format my phone memory. i know the number *#7370# but it ask restore settings but not formating...(nokia 6670)

Yes, it all means the same thing. Factory restore setting will format your phone to factory default, that is, the way it was when you first bought it.

But here is my country, we could also use the format phones by inserting the cable of the phone into it and the the USB part in the computer, but the drivers/software for the model of the phone must be available to do this.

So you can try it as well if you have all it requires or better still you continue with the restore settings.

Wish you the best.

I reformat my unit and failed to prepare back up

go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers onto a flash drive unpack them into a folder on the computer and then do the update driver wizard or run the .exe file for the driver this should take care of the problem for you, and what i do for my customers is create a cd with all drivers etc and a ghost image before loading data that way it is easy to reimage the pc after corruption.

if this answers your query please rate my expertise and answer accordingly.

HP had slow problem

Your restoration CD should be doing the full format for you. If not, and your operating system CD is the actual Windows CD (with the logo etc), then you can use that instead. Simply put the CD in and have the system boot with that. Once the CD loads, it will ask you whether you want to install Windows, or repair the current installation - ask it to install (NOT repair), then follow the on-screen prompts.
