Hi!

I'm getting an error while trying to format my new memory card in my digital camera! The error says "FILESYS ERROR e01410". The camera is a Kodak C530, is there a way to fix this? or do i need a new camera?

Thanks

The problem with the c350 is that it does not accept a memory card higher than 1GB! I found that out through the Kodak website and not in the User's Guide!

This was more help than the user's guide and the other information available. Its not the brand or the camera its the memory that is the problem. I tried 1GB and it worked wonderful!!!

I have a Kodak c530 and i cannot format a card regardless of size. I have tried a 1gig, and even a 64meg sd card (yes, it is SD which is supported format) and i always get this error code
FILESYS error 3 001000
I have tried formatting the card on my computer using FAT16 and FAT32 which is what i read was appropriate for lunux. The camera still wont format any of my SD cards.
So I think this is a common error with Kodac C350s. Im ready to ditch this one and get a different brand camera.

This error message means that the card is corrupted or formatted for another digital camera. Turn off the camera. Insert a new card or format the card.

Inserted 4G memory card...says memory card is full...when I try to format the card, get filesys error e00100.....

The C330 uses MMC and SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into SD slots, they are electronically incompatible and won't work. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.

Older C310s won't take that large a card. Try to exchange it for a 1 GB or smaller. I had the same problem - a PNY 1 GB works fine
