Samsung U600 : screen cracked

Samsung U600 : screen cracked apparentely.
O2 are quoting ? 145 to repair . I think this is distortion, but I want the phone sorted .

Any ideas what choices I have ?

You might get a used phone either for replacement or to use only the display and insert it into your own phone. Other than that you might have to google for some whiz that does repair, but I think it will be rather expensive if you can't do the job yourself.
