you need to go into your screen settings in what ever computer you are using..,,go into control panel then click on display set you brightness from there.
Check to see if your battery settings are set for low power consumption or energy saver. Push the brightness button at the top of the keyboard to see if the screen brightens. If the previous suggestions didn't help then replace the backlight or inverter.
Im sorry to tell you that the inverter its broken, you need to buy a new one and change it. Is not the display its the inverter, and also in some rare case you will need a new flex, try in ebay and buy it the piece that exactly much your notebook and take it to an expert to change it.
