Hisense. Why does it turn off on its own, then later turn on again?

Mine just turns off on its own. But the Hisense LED on the bottom bezel stays on and the red light comes back on like it's off. But you can't do anything but pull the plug. I already changed the main board and the power board and it still does the same.

Same problem. TV wouldn't stay on long enough to trouble shoot. Took the batteries out of my Amazon Fire remote and the problem stopped. Weird.

See if the TV has 'parental-lock' or security lock in the menu software and disable the feature. Try using the default lock-code to unlock which is '0000'

Sounds like main board to it is faulty. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Ive just had the same issue as the op with the same model fridge. The warranty center said to adjust the front level feet to elivate the front of the unit open both doors , defrost for 8-12 hours at least. This seems to be a problem in the colder months of the year. Once a full defrost has occurred level the feet again , and turn your fridge back on. Problem solved

Hisense LCD Tl2020

I, also, have the Hisense LCD 1504 and cannot turn it on with the original remote. I have to use the ON button on the side every morning. You have to hold this button in for a while then wait a while and presto, the blue button shows on the front and the picture comes on. If it fails to work the first try, just try try again. It does work for me this way. We had this same experience with the TV in our room at a Hotel where we were on vacation and the TV worked fine when we turned it on using the side ON button. It just takes a while for the picture to appear. Hope this clue will help someone.
