Question about Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD Car DVD Player

Touch screen not responding correctly

Wheni try to press the ok or esc bottons it doesnt let me i have to play with all the bottons for it to let me press them but all the other bottons are not sync either you havs to press to far out to the left so it will press each botton can any one help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i have the same problem with my avh 5750 the touch screen seem that not calibrated well the buttons that i push go far to left ,so anyway to re calibrated it agian ,

Have the avh 5700 should be close to the same unit. try holding the two center buttons on deck [boost and arrow button] i think then without releasing them push the reset button with a pen ,the screen will close then reopen now let go of buttons should be in the right menu on the first item dont trace the extreme edge come in a little then the second item on the menu screen is the touch section just touch the little plus button on screen if still off try tracing first screen little further from edge. this should fix problem

contact pioneer at 1-800-746-6337 for a authorized repair facility. I seen this problem on some unit's and needed to send them out for repair. i believe it was a $150 flat rate for repair

Bypass code for dual xdvdn9131? is there a bypass code for this new unit?


dont need a code just get a toggle switch and hook that to the yellow/blue wire and with the other side ground to the small lil screw where you will see a small lil short wire and then all u have to do is fallow the screen with the e brake but just flip the switch 3 times with the whole one sec then off for 3 sec then on

Pioneer AVH-P4100 Ipod Video not playing


You have to set up the AUX output.
1. Touch the source icon and then touch "OFF" to turn the unit off.
(The unit will be in demo mode)
2. Touch the screen to display the touch panel keys.
3. Touch AV Menu you should see "Inital Menu" and touch it.
4. Touch AUX 1 on the inital menu to select desired setting.
5. Touch it until Ipod is selected (make sure you have the CD-IU200V connected.
6. Touch ESC. Ipod video should work now.
7. See Page 50 in Operation Manual for more information.

Avic-z1 touch screen does not work


Is the screen cracked? Just a small crack can cause problems. When the screen is cracked and you touch it, it touch's some where else on the screen. I cracked mine, and I just changed it. It's pretty easy, all you need is a small phillips screw driver. Good luck!

Avic-N1 touch screen calibration...


1. Take disc out. 2. Press and hold eject and push the reset button. (don't release the eject button 'till screen closes and opens again. 3. Sceen will ask you to push reset.(don't) 4. With right knob... up,up,down,down,push 5. Perform steeps 1,2,3,and 4 only: The first outlines the screen The second has you push hash marks The third verifys The fourth Saves 6. Use "Band" buton for "back" 7. Press reset Be carefull......

Contact Pioneer Tech Support. It might be your ribbon cable. There is a free repair (shipping cost only), due to a defective ribbon cable for the display.

Pb with my pioneer avic N2


Definitly the ribbon cable. Pioneer will replace it one time for free but if you perfomed the by pass solder they will replace the board and charge you $200. The guy on Ebay will do it for $69 plus shipping.
