Question about PC Laptops
I thought it was the battery, but even after installing a new battery the LED indicator (sort of a broken circle with a line at 12:00) flashes and it won't power up? Any help greatly appreciated
I have the same problem although I am able to trace 18.46v from the power jack to the board. Oh I got one better, this is even after replacing the motherboard.

Your DC connector is loose from the system board:
If your laptop is out of warranty, then you can fix the problem by resoldering DC-IN jack on the system board. If it's still under warranty, it would be fixed at no charge to you.
