I have an AUDIOVOX PVS69701 7" Dual Screen MobileDVD System. We have only used it 2 times and it stopped working. Target wouldn't exchange it because we couldn't find the receipt. I'm willing to send it in for repair but I'm not sure where to send it. It will no longer turn on.
I also bought a set of this dualscreen dvd player part number pvs69701. The DVD player stopped working, the disk will turn very slowly. I bought these in December. I should still have warranty shouldn't I.

I purchased an Audiovox Dual DVD player PVS69701 and when
I tried it for the first time it did not work. The green "ON" light on the player with the disk does not light and the disk does not spin. I can't find the receipt, so I'm stuck.
Any suggestions on where to get it repaired...with Audiovox maybe?I purchased an Audiovox Dual DVD player PVS69701 and when

I bought my Audiovox PVS69701 just over a year ago and it stop working on a cross country trip and hasn't worked since. I went to the Audiovox official website and they didnt have this product listed on their site which was no help at all. I tried a product search and a model number search to no avail.I bought my Audiovox PVS69701 just over a year ago and it stop working on a cross country trip and hasn't worked since. I cannot go back to calibrate. Even after using reset button on back of player it turns off the player but then when you turn it back on it goes right back to the blue screen again. Cannot get out of blue screen.
In case you are still watching this issue for a solution - I'm afraid my assessment of the company troubleshooting support and of this particular issue is that we are out of luck. I have the same problem. Have downloaded manuals - very little information except for use...ie, don't get them wet. I have contacted the company - they asked me for the same information I gave them in the original troubleshooting request... We bought a new one - fortunately on sale at Target. The blinking light is the normal indication - lack of heat and boiling is the problem. Our new pot boils on both bases...old pot clicks and then just sits there with a blinking light - the light should blink until the temp is reached.
I intend to return the old pot to Target and move on....I suspect there is a burned out coil but, it is too hard to troubleshoot and won't be able to be fixed.
I suspect that a better (more expensive) pot might have more durable coils...but, we'll see how long the new one lasts.
Is this a sudden onset problem or just a general disappointment with the audio performance?
If the latter, I wouldn't expect much from a 'system' that weighs in under 30 lbs and has no published 'specs' that conform to a 'watts/channel at (freq range) and < xx% total harmonic distortion'.
If you can find a power consumption figure on the unit, multiply it by about .4 and spread that across all the speakers.
If you purchased new or received as a gift, take it back and exchange. Many stores will trade 1 for 1 even without receipt, but no refund without one. Try Walmart or Target. Call ahead if you're unsure. Sooner is better though.
your operating system probably crashed. you can goto the UT Starcom website and download the operations system. make sure you select the proper carrier. it is a very simple process that will show you step by step on how to re-flash your software. it will erase everything on the phone and put it back to factory settings. if it is a sprint ppc6700 feel free to call us or stop in our store and we will take a look at it for you. 317.337.0030 M-F 9-6 Sat 11-2

Place DVD in player, when you hear sound press stop twice. With the remote key 26604 then ok, make sure you have grounded the brake wire. You will now have video all the time.
