Yes, I have exactly the same problem. Screen comes up white. I have to leave it for 20 minutes to warm up and then start turning it off and on until the screen eventually fires up as perfect as the day I bought it 2 and a half years ago. The monitor works perfectly for the rest of the day until I turn it off ....... the next morning I have to start all over again. To me it seems similar to getting a flouresent strip light to come on when it has a dodgy choke .... hopefully there is a similar replacable component inside this otherwise excellent monitor?

Contrast is pink. Cannot get it white.

PINK is a mixture of just two of the three "primary" colours.
WHITE is a mixture of all three "primary" colours.

So, your monitor is NOT producing one of those primary colours. or is not producing the right "mix" to get from RED to DUSTY ROSE to PALE ROSE to WHITE colours.

My monitor has turned a glaring pale pink. Any

Sometimes it has something to do with the integrity and robustness of the mechanical cable interconnection of motherboard/video card to monitor vga cable. Check that first. If that's not it, then think about new CCFl's being installed on your monitor. Bye for now. louie12fix on fixya.

Screen background color turned pink

Power OFF the monitor before doing this. You don't have to power off the computer.

Your video cable is loose. Most likely on the back of your computer. Push cable in tight and tighten the thumb screws.

Turn ON the monitor

If this doesn't work, then (seriously) *whack* the monitor on the left or right side with the palm of your hand. If this corrects the problem it is temporary (you will need to replace the monitor or have to deal with a sore hand).

Hope this helps!

With your work sheet opened (reduce its size by clicking once on the Square in the right hand corner of the page, just make it a bit smaller than your screen), than left click & hold drag it to the second monitor. Once there you can maximize the page to fill the screen.
If you post back with your video adapter information I may be able to help with other settings for your video card. You can find this information by opening control panel, open System. Your display window will open. Click on the settings tab. Than click the Advanced button. Click the Adapter tab in the next window.
Your Adapter Information is listed there.

Godd Luck!
