Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

Screen too bright

Turned on my sansa to find that it is too bright. Dimming with the brightness settings does not help. It's as if the color is washed out. If you view it on a sharp angle you can still see ok. Any ideas?

Your Screen is most likely broke because even if somehow accidentally the brightness on the screen setting was messed with it wouldn't make it white the only real solution is to buy a new one or learn to navigate the device without seeing

Dim screen

Hi,
Dimming your screen is actually a way to save battery to extend the usage hours of your device.
To adjust the brightness of your screen, go to:
Settings > Brightness>
drag the button there to the left or to the right, depending on what you prefer.

Sansa e260 Screen is too bright

Cannot do anything else but adjust the brightness - the Sansa player has the opposite of the other player's problems - most players are too dim.
