I would never use my camera to transfer pix to computer. I would buy a (usb or other) card reader and save wear and tear on camera. Otherwise I need more info.

It is not your computer that needs drivers, it is the hardware you need to connect to the operating system that needs a driver. From Windows 7 and up, Microsoft only allows drivers, if the manufacturer asked for certification and the hardware and driver work conform Microsofts demands. If the hardware and driver is certified the driver is also on the Microsoft website. Most of the time if you use new hardware the operating system goes to Microsoft to see if there is a correct driver and then installs the driver.
For older hardware, only few manufactures make drivers and ask certification. Most only develop drivers for their new hardware. So for older hardware there are only a few drivers. If Microsoft can't deliver drivers, or the manufacturer from the hardware can't, you are lost. The devices won't work with the new operating system. Nobody told you that before upgrading.

The only chance you have is on Canon USA. This site gives enormous support.

I need a manual and or schematic for a Bell & Howell 265a 8mm movie projector.

This is so old it will be impossible t find - did you try Ebay?

A lot of problems with these old projectors are broken plastic parts that are no longer available or melted/broken belts. Belts can be replaced with an O-ring of the appropriate size (check your local hardware store) PRB used to sell belts for projectors but I believe they are now out of business.

I have a cyber shot sony camera dsc s730 and i want to use it as a webcam !? i connected to the pc by the RCA USB cable but its not workin hope u can help me thank you

What you ask is impossible. Your camera is not designed to provide a live video feed to external devices and so totally lacks the internal hardware connections.

I hv windows 7 and my Telemax WC 50 webcam is impossible to find a driver for, a free one ecspecially

This is a common issue with Windows 7 (or Vista).

You could try the followings:
  • Using the context (e.g. Rightmouse click) menu against the desktop icon or the actual .exe file, go to the 'Compatibility' tab and tick the 'Compatibility mode' option and use the drop-down menu to select the appropriate operating system that use to work.
  • If you have the appropriate hardware (e.g. Hardware visualization enabled) and Windows 7 version (Professional or Ultimate), you can try using 'XP mode'.
  • If you cannot use XP mode, install the free VirtualBox to run your 'older' operating system under Virtual machine with good USB support (see http://www.virtualbox.org/ for more info): I am doing this with great success!
Hope it helps: let me know how you go or if this information is useful to anybody.

I ran into the same problem with my printer. If you go to the cannon website you should be able to download a plug in to your computer that will update everything so that you are able to download photos

Sony HC19E lcd screen not working. Viewfinder OK.

this can ONLY be repaired by someno with good repair, and dexterity skills!
try this:while the cam is on,use a flashlight to shine onto the screen at a "drastic"angle,if you see "somthing"on the panel which resembles what you "should"be seeing, and like you say,the touch part works,THEN you have a burnt-out "back-light",or a partialy broken ribbon cable (connects cam to the screen).

the back-light MAY be impossible to find, along with the ribbon cable!!

if the camera is worth THAT much to you,and you dont feel up to the "quest"of finding the parts, and fixing it yourself(repair will NOT be easy!!),check a qualifiyed repair shop for estimates!!

you may be better off buying a new one,and giving the unit to a dear friend,or child,OR just using it the way it is!.

this is NOT an easy fix for the average person!!!

like any new,and semi-new "mini"electronics units,it's meant(and biult)to be disposed when somthing goes bad,repair is ALMOST impossible!

sorry,good luck!!

Call Canon. There is a service notice on your camera regarding the CCD Image Sensor issue. If your camera has this problem, Canon will pay shipping and repair free of charge.

Unfortunately, they do not support spanish speaking tech support, but they will be happy to help fix your camera.

Hope this helps!

Make sure you have appropriate drivers for your camera.
If you use Windows vista or xp service pack 2 then you don't need the drivers coz they are preinstalled on these operating system.

If you use windows 98 or later then you need to install the drivers manually from the cd provided with the camera.

If your camera uses a memory card then it's very easy to transfer the file. You just need a memory card reader.

To install the drivers manually go to control panel\printer and other hardware and then search for add hardware and follow the instructions,

If this does not solve your solution then email me or have a live chat with me about it.My email address is talha_mostwanted786@yahoo.co.in or talha_mostwanted786@hotmail.com

SDHC Cards

Sorry, what you ask is impossible. SDHC compliant devices contain different hardware and no amount of firmware can overcome that limitation.
