G'day, there are a few options depending on how you intend to mount it, have a look here for the original kit instructions

Broken foot on Olympus vp-1 projector

So is the problem that the projector is now uneven and won't stand as you want?
I have a projector myself and often use other items underneath one of the sides to help me to line it up. I use poker chips believe it or not.
but as a more permanent solution I would try and remove the broken foot, place a tight fitting rawl plug in the hole left and screw a screw into the hole slowly until it fits to the size you want.
I know this is a very DIY solution but it's what I would do.

Can the Optoma EP739 be ceiling mounted and projected upside down? what are the steps to do so? also, what would be the best mount for said projector?

Mine has been in place for about three years. Because the ceiling was open I was able to create a connection for a tripod head on the ceiling and then using a STRONG tripod head and some small bolts (longer than the originals) I mounted an external base and with the tripod head fitting dttached to the projector it just became a matter of running the various connector cables from the sources I use that require projection to my wall.

if you have no zooom and only a digital zoom this wont work so you need a longer vga cable and if you have mounted it you need longer wires and to take your projector further back.

What size are the mounting screws?

The brass mounting holes on the bottom of Hitachi data projectors require a 4mm bolt.

Typicall 4mm x 10 is the shortest bolt I will use if when installing a projector on a ceiling mount, and 4mm x 20 will be the longest. I also recommend picking up 3 washers and spacers of varying sizes if you want to insure the projector is mounted level without warping whatever it is you are attaching it to.

BMS makes great locking mounts that come with all the mounting hardware you'd need to attach a projector to it.

Need to replace NEC Lamp Unit in VT75LPE. Unit is bolted to ceiling in library and unable to be detached easily. What is procedure for replacing lamp?

Hi. You are most likely going to have to remove the projector *and* the projector mounting plate in order to access the lamp door. Mark the orientation of the projector mount plate with a marker and set aside. Remove the lamp door with a proper screwdriver. The PROJECTOR MUST BE COOL TO PROCEED!! The lamp will be secured, usually with 2 screws. Loosen these screws--new screws should come with the new lamp--already held in position. Using the hinged metal handle, pull the old lamp straight up and out of the projector. ( you might have to wiggle it and work it out steadily--its a precision fit) Take your time and *don't force* it! Carefully slide the new lamp into position, taking care that the power connector on the lamp assembly is properly seated. MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU DO NOT TOUCH ANY LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS!!! If you do get finger prints on any glass surfaces, carefully wipe them off completely with a dry, soft cloth--DO NOT USE CLEANER!! This is critical to the life of the new lamp--finger oil attracts heat and will cause the new lamp to fail pre-maturely. Re-attach the lamp door--make sure you don't over-tighten any screws on lamp or door--they need to be firmly tight but not "gorilla" tight! lol Clean any dust filters thoroughly before re-attaching the mounting plate--you'll be glad you did! After re-mounting the projector, power it up and go into the menu in order to reset the lamp timer.--Hope I helped you!---Rick

How to mount using a universal ceiling mount

first, find out the distance range on your projector for the best fitting image on your wall. next, what type of ceiling? if it's a drop ceiling, use a plate to span the 2 feet between braces and clamp it to them. and it's always safe to attach a safety cable from the mount to something sturdy, like wood or heavier metal. if you are putting it on a drywall ceiling, find a stud to screw it in to. do not use drywall anchors to hold it. if you can get above the drywall, use a backer board (2x4 or plywood, 1/2" or thicker) and screw the mount through the drywall into that. the other end of the mount screw into the bottom of the projector (3 or 4 m4 holes should be already on the bottom of the projector. use the screws provided. you'll have to adjust the mount so it matches the projector holes. once it's mounted, you'll have to adjust the image. go into the menu and select ceiling image, and adjust the keystone. pop in a movie and enjoy!

Connected the Sanyo Pro XtraX Projector, but cannot get image to fit screen. Used the zoom button, but that does not bring it far enough down to size. HELP!

Is the projector permanently mounted or can you move the projector closer to fit your screen. This should do the trick, unless I'm missing something.

How do I mount the HC1600 projector

there are three screw holes on the bottom of the projector, 2 in the back by the feet and one in the front. they take a standard size, I think it is a 6x4....

I had a infocus projector mounted to the ceiling and took it down this weekend and put the hc1600 in using the same screw and same adjustable ceiling mount.

Hitachi CP-S225 projector - spec for screws

Hi Brian

The $18 footpiece you will unfortunatelly have to pay if you want the right thing.

As for the screws to mount the bracket onto the Projector , simply look right beside the hole at the bottom. Normally the size screws that you require is printed in the plastic.
