Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
For no reason at all my screen is not responding to my touch. I reset it by holding top and home button and it still does not work. I can't unlock it, turn it off, or answer a call. The phone is unlocked. Please help me!
I am trying to discharge my battery but still its showing some percent of battery remaining. Can't I discharge 100% it to percent.
Please suggest. My iPhone still in same condition (Touch not working on half of the screen).
Thanks in advance.

The only solution is let the battery ran out (i believe about 9 hours) and then you'll be fine after that. I guess the problem came from connection between the LCD and the C.Board (HW). Good luck. Restore may help but it'll happen again when you turn the phone off then turn on again(it'll freeze up again)

Plug it into iTunes with it at the unlock screen. Somewhere it should say "Unlock your iPhone" or something like that in iTunes. Click it. Otherwise do a restore by going to the screen where it shows how much memory you have used up in iTunes and click restore.
Download the latest iTunes to your computer and reset the iPhone. Then re-sync it.
To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.
Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.
