My ps3 suddently got this problem i dont know whats wrong with it. On the main menu -when u just turn on ps3- if i try signing on then my ps3 will freeze- Also when i try to send a messege it takes like 20-30 seconds to send and now i dont even get messeges from my friends no more. Whats Wrong with it?

If you're using wireless router try changing to a different channel. Wireless G routers (2.4GHz) run on the same frequency as some wireless phones. Also there could be a lot of interference from other electronic sources, microwave for instance.
If the PS3 is not loadingg the main menu this is a sign that yoou have corrupted data on your hard drive. The link below will help you address this. If you still have trouble then you have a serious hardware problem.
switch off console and hold the power buttom down till it beeps twice .then release it and immidatley after that hold it down again ,
then u will have recovery menu which enables u to reset ps3
(harddrive will get wiped out)
It sounds like your hard drive is going bad.It's not the first time I have heard of this problem.The thing you need to do is try and format your hard drive.But some some can't get past the wave logo.The only thing you can do if this happens,is buy a new hard drive.
