Image getting stuck

Hi guys
i have bought a g-hantz home theater in the past but had to return it after 6 months as it was not reading DVD's  properly(the image was freezing so they gave me a new one instead which behaved the same way so i brought it back after 1 month and they replaced it with a sansui home cinema (bulkier but great sound) and i have the same problem still. If i bring it back i can get a marantz pro tool but i am not sure now if the player is a problem or the dvd's
what do you suggest

dvd player plays for a while and the image freezes, have to turn the unit off.
I cleaned the laser with a cleaner CD still freezes.

Any number of issues could be happening.  From overloading circuts to horribly designed disk readers.  As much as I would love to give you technical help, I can only suggest that you don't buy products from this brand anymore.

If you really like the unit (disregarding the DVD player issues), maybe you could buy a GOOD stand-alone DVD or BluRay player and be ready for an upgrade in the electronics when the bug bites.

My Dream system is DAV FX900W, will not return DVD, only says, please wait.

Hi,
This is problem of optical lens that got stuck in mid position due to its defective sled motor.
Optical block will be replaced to solve 'please wait' problem in your Sony home theater system.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

Disk stuck in my Blue Ray

Hi!
I had the same problem, and I solved it by shutting down the unit and then disconnected the power supply for some sec. When re-connecting the power supply and pushing the start button the DVD was ejected when pushed the eject button.
