My son bought a Insignia video MP3 player 4 GB for my daughter and it didn't come with a down load disk. Ive asked him several times to take it back but he's been too busy. Is there any way to get this working?

Philips GOGEAR 4 GB mp3, unable to download videos to it

Merry Christmas Leo! Just got a GoGear for my son and my daughter. I used the bundled application to convert a DIVX AVI file to the Philips GoGear format. Then just open the Windows Explorer, locate the Video folder on the Philips (which should show up as removable drive). Then copy the file over as you would any other data file.

COBY 2 GB MP3 PLAYER

Hello,

I'm not sure what you have to do,
but I've had a problem kind of like this.

In "google" you write down the name of your mp3-player,
followed by "software" (<name mp3-player> software)

Nomally you'll find the software your player is using.

Then type: (<name mp3-player> <name software> download) in google,
and there should be a link to the softwaredownload

Use the Sansa Media Converter. If you don't have the SMC, you can get the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0

I want to get a replacement CD for Insignia NS-DA2G

This player does not allow multiple sync parters to prevent piracy. If you are syncing it to a new computer you must re-initialize the player and erase the songs.

Wish the News was Cheerier.

I need to know what video format will work

It is one of those "special" MPEG-4 formats. The CD contains ArcSoft MediaConverter 2 for video conversion for several Insignia players. I can upload it somewhere for you to download, but I think it is commercial software and that technically would be piracy. Please do advise if you need it.

The file extension is usually *.avi on Insignia players. So try renaming the file.
