My factory radio in my 2002 pontiac grand Am stop playing and it says LOC

You will need to leave the key on for at least 1 hour for the radio to reset, then you will see code displayed, you must then enter your code, this code should be on a card in the glovebox with the owner manualy.read the manualy on how to enter the code, if you cant find your code the dealer must be called and they will help you to get the code, they will have you hold buttons to get numbers then those numbers they transfer into the code. hope this is helpfulNOTE; you should be a battery charger so battery doesnt go dead within the hour of leaving the key on.

How do you reset the service engine soon light on a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am?

Hello frg68zrr: My name is Roger and I can help you. To reset the computer lamp can be done by one of two ways. Reset with a scanner which is the best way. You can also disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 seconds. To use this method will erase all radio settings. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer you received. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

My radio is locked in my car and don't know the code

If it's a Delco-Loc and you don't have the code that the previous owner programed in you will have to buy it from your local GM dealership.$50 for the last one I had to get.By unhooking your battery or even letting the battery go dead you enable the lock out of the radio.Sorry for the bad news.

Radio won't work or light up.

Check your wiring. when you put in the new battery, you might have either knocked loose or shorted out one of your radio wires.
