After you download the driver, make sure extract it somewhere inyour computer since I packed it in a ZIP file. Connect your Motorola L6phone by using a USB cable until the system tray shows you the pop-upmessage “Found Motorola L6 Modem”. You’ll meet the “Add New HardwareWizard” dialog box then. Follow the instructions until you told tospecify an exact location for the corresponding hardware, which is yourMotorola L6 phone. When your files are located, a dialog box will warn you whether tostop or continue the installation since the driver hasn’t digitallysigned by Windows. Click “Continue Anyway”, Windows will start to copythe driver files into a specific location. As the process finished, your Motorola L6 phone will automatically turn its mode to Loud andstart charging the battery. That’s all. Next thing you should do is set up your internet connection through Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network Connections. Get yourself to the Files menu and choose New connection.. You’ll be guided with a step by step New Connection Wizard.
According to some trouble indicated by another person, the unit must be fully charged to make the initial connection.
I didn't experience any trouble myself. However, I recommend the following:
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your phone. For security reasons some cellular phones will force you to turn on Bluetooth each time you turn on your phone.
If your cellular phone prompts you for anything when trying to connect, try entering "0000".
Make sure the headset is turned on before you try to find it with the phone. The blue LED on the headset should have a slow, steady blink when the unit is on. If it's not, hold down the large button until the blue LED flashes rapidly.
Try connecting while the headset is connected to the power adapter.
cell phone as a modem is perhaps the most overlooked of all Internet
connection options. But a mobile phone Internet connection, whether as
a tethered modem or, using bluetooth, a wireless cell phone Internet
connection, is easy to set up, and with a laptop and cellphone you can
check email and surf the web from anywhere, any time, with the Internet
in your pocket!
Here are the basic instructions for creating a mobile phone Internet
connection. The instructions are for a cell phone with bluetooth (which
most cell phones these days have), but if your cell phone doesn’t have
bluetooth you can buy a cable to connect your laptop to your phone from
any cell phone accessory provider. Conversely, if your cell phone has
bluetooth but your laptop does not, you can buy a small USB device
which will enable bluetooth on your computer.
1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1. 3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device 4.Select H350 once a connection is detected. 5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made. 6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".
Tips: 1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset. 2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On". 3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".
