Press and Hold the 'Setup' button while you press the 'Options' button. This will bypass the error and allow you to print.
You may want to tape a note on the printer with these instructions as this is a frequent problem on the one I have :)

Every time i try to copy the screen says "press enter to align cartriges

Have you carried out a head alignment procedure, I would carry that out again
the online user manual is available from this link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=79499&lang=en&
The HP PSC prompts you to align cartridges every time you install or replace a print cartridge. Aligning the cartridges ensures high-quality output. To align the print cartridges when prompted:
  1. Press Enter on the front panel. A page of patterns is printed. The cartridges are aligned correctly. Recycle or discard the page.
To align the cartridges at any other time:
  1. Press Setup.
  2. Press 5, then press 2.
  3. This selects Maintenance, and then selects Align Print Cartridges.
  4. A page of patterns is printed. The cartridges are aligned correctly.
  5. Recycle or discard the page.

HP 2210, screen says to press enter to aling cartridges

Once you replace a cartridge on a 2210 ya page prints and you must put that page on the scanner window and then press enter. Your computer will go through a calibration to align the print head. once this is done you can throw away the paper and printing will be normal
