New cable box now no sound

* Brand, model for specific information.
* Check your warranty call for support.

*** Following is for information only.***
* Many times when hooking up new equip one must read the instructions as to the new configuration may be different with the older set up.
* As of Jan 2018, cable boxes have switched to all digital output.
* Outputs can be separate video and audio or combined as with the HDMI cables.
* Check your TV input set up to select the right cable input; HDMI-1, HDMI-2, COMP. Note; RF input may not be available in certain areas.
* The COMP input also needs an audio (in stereo) input from the cable box. It's usually a RCA plug (White and Red) The video will be 3 separate "colors" RCA plugs that needs to be matched to the correct input.
* You will also need to check your TV menu for the audio settings if it is set up for your current speakers set.
* Check with your cable provider for additional support.

I am trying to playback videos on my JVC Everio Camcorder using the colored AV cords. I hear the audio coming through my TV but there is no video/picture. I have tried adjusting the settings and tried...

First, set [SWITCH TO ANALOG I/O] to [OUTPUT]
then turn off the (camcorder) unit.

After you connect the cable (from AV connector to the TV's AV Input Connector (accepting the 3 color cables), set the TV to VIDEO mode, selecting the AV input (from your Camcorder).
Then start your playback on the camcorder ...
slide the mode switch to select the (video) mode (instead of the picture/photo mode)... press the PLAY/REC to select the playback mode, and select the desired files/frames to play.

Hope this works for you. Have you tried using the HDMI mini connector instead ? (same process, just set your TV to accept input from the HDMI input)

No signal from HDMI mode when I switch on the TV

HDMI is an input to the TV not an output. You select the appropriate input e.g hdmi 1, hdmi 2 on the remote. There can be a return signal the other way but the cable has to support that. Try a different hdmi cable.

Our new vizio tv is hooked up just like our old tv, (satellite provider being dish network) and it says no signal with a blue screen

Hello. This is usually an easy issue to fix. To get the DISH Network back on the screen, i have included a few steps:

If you are at TV1, where the receiver box is located, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cable that is running between the receiver and the tv, the tv may need to be on an input, such as video 1 or 2. If you are at the TV2 location, where there is no receiver, then the tv needs to be on channel 60 or 73.

If you are using an HDMI cable, then the TV will need to be on an HDMI input
If you are using Component cables, your TV will need to be on a component input. (Usually Comp 1 or 2)
If you are using RCA cables, then the TV will need to be on a VIDEO input (Usually Video 1 or 2)
If you are using COAX cables, then the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4 (If you are at TV2, then the TV needs to be on channel 60 or 73)

Recently plugged a CamCorder into the side panel to show home video. Subsequently, the TV is now dark with "No Video Signal" when either Satelite or DVD is the source.

I would say make sure the TV is on the correct channel, or input selection for whatever corresponding input source. Be it cable, video 1, video 2, dvd 1, etc. If TV worked before and with your camcorder, then it has to work with other sources after removing the camcorder. Hope this is somewhat helpful.

Toshiba 40XV645U - No picture on HDMI 1 when TV is turned on

I assume that you have set the input source selction as in Page 32 and HDMI 1 is solid and and not grayed out. If so check the Preferences menu and see if there is an option for power on set up.
Also look at page 51 about HDMI feature settings. I assume you turn the cable box on first before turning the TV on.

Are you saying that this happens only when you are using the RF input? Is it not happening when you use the video input from the satellite receiver? Try a DVD player on the input of the video where you now have the Satellite receiver connected. Let me know exactly what you mean as i need a little more information so I can assist you.
