If all you want is a small partition, ten GB should dlo it just for windows and surfing. Not downloading.

5gb is enough, but if you want ,just make your h/disk two partition,so that you can have enough space for your other application,so that you are going to install.

SYSTEM IS SLOW

Try running a disc cleanup and then defrag. They should be located in your control panel under the maintenance & performance tab. Doing this regularily will help keep your system running smooth. Hope this helps.

IBM NetVista M41 PC Desktop Os Install Impossible

You probably need an OEM version of XP...not that IBM version. If you buy an OEM version, you can use it many computers. A real XP disc will partition, format, and delete partitions on any functioning Hard drive. Don't buy a recovery disc, please. That just sounds WRONG.

A cheaper solution might be a new Hard Drive...but I don't trust your IBM version of XP.

Comp has a virus so now when comp is started it is bypassing the removable drives and going straight to the hard drive, windows starts and stays that it is unable to connect all drivers and then it turns...

if it's bios virus make a new flash update and if it software virus so u need to to resize your c:\ drive (use partition magic) and make a small 2 or 4 giga partition and install windows xp and with parttion magic hide other partitions and install a strong antivirus and then unhide ur partitions and scan (ahmed ghoniem)
