You also could have a condenser fan stopping and/or motherboard failure. On the back of the PSS26LSR there is a panel with the WR55X10942 Motherboard recessed in the back wall of the refrigerator. Can you unplug the power to the refrigerator and examine the board for swollen capacitors or burn marks? Sometimes the board will show no signs of being defective and still be the cause of why WR55X10942 Motherboard Either way I will be here to help you do this yourself if you like. Please let me know if you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

Digitai temp display dead fridge makes clicking noise

This sounds as if you have lost the low voltage side of the motherboard. You can look over the motherboard by unplugging refrigerator and pulling away from the wall. In photo Here=> PDS22MFSACC GE Cabinet Parts You can see item number 801 in the photo that is the motherboard location. Look it over closely back and front while power is disconnected. You may just see burn marks. The motherboard part number=> WR55X10942 where there is no photo and here where I have a photo=> WR55X10942 in right sidebar half way down that page.

Couple things really are important are the tech sheet and wiring diagram
Here
.
I know yours is a bottom freezer but clicking on the wiring diagram opens into a new tab GE Service Manual. You can follow with me on that if you would like to do
it yourself. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze
