yup i got into it already but the there's nothing there that can solve my problem. my tv's left side of the screen is lower than its right side. there's an option there to adjust the screen but the prolem is both side are lifted at the same time. is there an option where i can just adjust the left, leaving the right side as it is. sending my tv to the technician is really my last option, the last time i let them fix my tv was a disaster. i got traumataized.hehehe... thanx to BFix, hope u could help me out here again. : )

There is a code to get into service mode, but you should read over the service manual before you attempt to enter the service mode and change any settings. You can really mess up your set very easily. You can get the service manual at the link provided below, but you will need to register with the site to get it.

If the corner correction settings are not doing what you need it may be
that you have to rotate the yoke on the back of the tube. There are two
clamps on the yoke, one for the yoke itself and one for the purity
magnets (page 10 in manual). Loosen both clamps but don't move the
purity rings, you only want to rotate the yoke to align the picture.
The yoke may be glued on so be careful not to crack it. Twisting back
and forth may help crack it loose so you can turn it. Don't push it in
or out as this will change the purity, just rotate it.

I have a toshiba Theaterview SD television. The sound is fine but the picture is a a thin horizontal line? What can I do to fix the problem?

The problem of your tv is the vertical deflection. Try to tap the side of your tv and observe if it will go to normal size if react the problem is the vertical IC there is a loosed or cold solder in the pin. If you are familiar with the electronic parts you can fix this by resoldering the loosed or cold solder to the vertical section of your tv. But if you tap the side and does not react you should replace the vertical IC, or you can contact a service technician to do it for you good day and best regards. Note before doing some trouble shooting you should unplug the unit.

Ctc television locked by remote

I came across it by sheer fluke I held the Number1 key and the very last key on my remote and held them together for about 10 seconds, this deactivated the lock that was on the screen. I asked a few technicians but, u know people just don't want to help anymore. So i hope that my solution helps someone with the same problem. Other CTC televisions can be fixed by the same method.

Hello MLD110368
I think, TV screen has white-balance failure thats why TV light blinks 5 times.
While living in Pakistan, I can't fix your TV there. In my point of view, it doesn't cost much and you should contact nearest Sony repair shop.

Gray line on left side of screen

I spoke with Samsung - they said this is a minor and easy to fix problem caused by a "blocked or collapsed channel" - whatever that is. They also recommended that if I have any warantee coverage (I do) that I not attempt this repair myself and that a technician be called in. That's my plan. I hope this helps.

Sony kv-32hv600 picture problems

Problem 1. Color patches at lower corners. These are caused by magnetic sources close to the TV. Do you have any Speakers close to the sides of the TV? Are they Magnetically sheilded? No? Move them away from the TV. Problem should then resolve itself in a couple of days. Problem2. Screen Slumping. Most likely a problem with the Pin cushion correction ckts. Get a good technician to have look. cost should not be much. Under 100$ plus Technician fees.
