Samsung 2010 printer

My printer, just before it attempts to print, make a loud hum and then dies with an "online/error" light. Checked for paper jams...nothing. Pulled the toner out etc. No indication apparent.

    Windows ME: no print, instead of it - the msg as follows:

    All system checks give the same result "all is OK".

    Can anyone suggest whats the solution?

    But please don't advice driver reinstall, done many times with no result.

    the printer produce this error page if i try to print more than one or two pages in a job. The toner cardridge was changed any days before. I don't believe, that this will be the reason for.

Thanks for the advise. I changed my toner cartrige and the problem persists.

Mine did the same thing, turned out to be an empty toner cartridge. The one that comes with the printer when you buy it only prints about 50 sheets before it dies.

Your system has some problems. If this problem occurs,
contact your service representative.
On Line/Error LED
lights red
• Paper jam occurs. To solve the problem, see "Clearing
Paper Jams" on page 5.6.
• The front cover is open. Close the front cover.
• Paper tray is empty. Load the paper in the Tray.
• The toner cartridge is out of toner. Remove the old toner
cartridge and install a new one. See "Installing the Toner

• You pressed the Cancel button while the printer is
receiving data.
• In Manual Feed mode, there is no paper in the manual
tray. Load paper into the manual tray.

The online light stays red and I can not print anything. what should I do?

check the toner cartridge. red light means there is an error in the printer. check for any paper jams. check paper tray settings.

I have a samsung ml 1740 & its not printing, I have an error/online light on red and it does not seem to beable to pick up the paper?

unplug then plug it in again. after u hook it up with the computer try turning it on and off before u start printing!

The online error light is red on my ML-1610 Mono Laser Printer any ideas how to fix this?

It probably has a jam somewhere. Open each flap, remove the toner cartridge and check the paper path is clear.

Samsung ML 2010

First open all covers and make sure there is not another piece of paper stuck in the machine. Check under the toner cartridge. If you are sure there is no other paper stuck, try unplugging the machine wait about a minute and plug back in.
