Beeping sound(5 every 2 secs) coming from hard drive. I think it's a serious problem but would like your advice.

Does the computer turn on? If it does not the beep codes indicate a problem with RAM or video card. if the computer comes on and seems to run that could indicate that it is detecting a part that is too hot. I would need more information to determine the exact cause of the problem but that will hopefully point you in the right direction.
