Question about Washing Machines
Whirlpool 5132E. I've had a guy come and fix it twice in the last year, it takes him about 5 mins and costs $160. I'm sure I could do it myself, on the invoice (I can't read his writing) to find out what part I need to buy. So if you have any ideas about what the part might be and repair instructions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Sounds like you need a set od AGITATOR DAWGS. part number 80040. located with iin the agitator it self. with the heel of your hand hit the fabric softener sectio off agitator. reach down inside agitator and remove the opaque seal. under there is a 7/16 bolt. this will release the agitator all together, tip it over and hte inner workigs should fall out. the dawgs are small plastic "gears". should be self explanitory at this point . reassemble, and you just saved about $150
