I used the internet to look at the instructions for my TV and the instructions for my freeview set-top box. Thanks for asking but I know how to do it now.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Will it work with analogue TV using scart and without old free view box

Depends what is on the satellite receiver. If there is a SCART connection, you can put it in your TV. As soon as the satellite receiver only has a HDMI, you can't connect them.
Be aware, that even digital receivers for analog TV receivers, with both, SCART and HDMI often not forward digital signals, because of copyright restrictions. Not even not copyrighted content.

I have a panasonic DMR-EZ48V and on the HD channels it says unable to decode HD!what does this mean and how can I get the HD channels to work?thanks

Unable to decode HD is a common banner display message with these combos. It simply means the unit is not engineered to process HD signals. It is a model series limitation; not a fault as such.

This model incorporates a SD (standard definition) integrated digital tuner. It is a major pain in the proverbial not being able to receive HD, and not being able to skip them in any setup menu.

The only thing you could really do here is connect an external HD digital set top box (which would also contain SD channels) directly to the recorder's AV inputs at the rear, and then selecting the appropriate input on the combo unit to suit the source. You could then choose whether to view/record HD or SD via this method, rather than use the unit's built-in tuner.

Works just as well, with minimal error, depending on the signal strength and type of DSTB used.

It's crude, but cheaper, and does not require repairs or messy wiring.

SINCE RETUNING TV IN dECEMBER TO RECEIVE DIGITAL TV THROUGH MY DVD/FREE TO VIEW RECORDER I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RECORD ANY TV PROGRAMMES. THANKS!!!

The tuner in the DVD recorder also needs to be digital. If you have a converter box that would take care of it, otherwise you'll need a new DVD recorder.

I have lost BBC 2 and all free view since Didital switchover

Well, I would say that this is how the cables company encourage you (the elegant way) to purchase their services. I know that there is a plan, in several countries, to stop all free broadcasts of various channels for people who do not have cables, especially if they don't have digital cables. There are devices which will allow you to receive the digital broadcasts to your TV. You can purchase one of these devices through any electronics store

Hdtv tuner

According to RCA this set only has a digital receiver for the antenna. The cable input doesn't have a digital receiver.
