hp wireless keyboard still works - mouse does not.

new batteries in mouse - it is turned on. The receiver is dongle type - its blue led blinks with keyboard use but not with mouse. yes, pressed connect button on mouse. there is no button on receiver. This is the peculiar part I first noticed a problem when I turned on the power to my Epson R260 usb printer which connects to another port. There was a error report that said one of the usb devices had failed and the mouse stopped working. I turned the printer off and fiddled with the mouse - pressing the button and rebooted. The mouse was working again until the next time I turned on the printer and the same thing happpened but this time the mouse was dead for good - even with the printer disconnected. Weird.

Mouse suddenly stops working - I then switch off the mouse and then switch it on again and it starts working for a while before I have to repeat the sequences. When working, the red light on the bottom of the mouse continually flickers indicating, perhaps a loose connection inside. Batteries are new.

    Any thoughts?

My hp wireless mouse has stopped working

turn the mouse over, press and hold the tiny button on the bottom. At the same time - find the transmitter connected to your pc and press and hold the tiny button on it too and hold both buttons down for a few seconds. This will calibrate your mouse and return it to working order.

My wireless mouse stop working. I've replace the batteries.

There should be a small place on the mouse to push in using the end of a straightened paper clip. this should reset the mouse to find the wireless emitter that goes with the mouse/keyboard.

The wireless emitter would have to be plugged to an electrical outlet or a surge protector.

I have an HP wireless mouse and keyboard, my mouse suddenly stopped working, how can I fix?

It is possible the mouse needs new batteries or needs to be charged.

Try replacing the batteries to see if the mouse starts working.

If that does not work then try re-inserting the wireless receiver into a different USB slot.

Please rate this if you found it useful.

HP Wireless optical mouse stopped working

You will need to "pair" it with the receiver.  Look on the receiver and you will find a button.  press it then press the button on the mouse.
Then wiggle the mouse around.  You should see the pointer move.

HP Wireless Optical Mouse Fading

Ref wireless mouse. Not sure if you have a solution yet but it seems there could be 2 sources to the problem. First a weak or decaying laser. Second, something you have introduced recently that could interfere with the wireless signal eg mobile phone, another wireless device, cordless phone, telephone wires close to receiver or maybe something else. Not sure what you do if the laser is failing other than clean the lens. You might have to get it checked or try a friends mouse to see if it is better. There s also a setting than can change the sensitivity of the mouse. Have you looked at those settings.

HP 3 button wireless optical mouse

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
