Question about Eiki LC-XB20 Projector Multimedia Projector

RGB HD15 to Component/RCA cord

I have recently purchased the above mentioned cord to connect my DVD player to my EIKI LC-XB20 projector and when connected I get nothing...what am I doing wrong. Are there settings that need to be adjusted?

I have tried to switch around the component colors and I can then see a picture in black and white...but no sound. I would appreciate any help you could offer.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work. But thanks for trying! I bought new cables and everything... it still isn't coming up.

Unfortunately this is not the problem either. Mute is not on, and I can make the picture really green or really red... but that's it. Still no sound either.

That's what I was afraid of. I guess it just isn't worth it to pay that much for something so small. Thanks!

I have an eiki lc xg400 at my disposal. I have a toshibi vcr/dvd player. How do I hookup the vcr to the projector and is the hook up different for the dvd? Thank you De

this depends on the signal type coming from your sources

best is using component signal ( Y-Pr-Pb) , by using the right cables and right settings for video inputs in the projector menus. In basic this should be possible.

Pink tint when usig the RGB component cable

Check the green signal lead - if one of the RGB leads doesn't make good contact, the picture will take on an odd tint that doesn't always look like it's missing one of those colours. For some reason, the green is always the most common one to fail.
