Hi,
If you need to full reset. theres a small hole at the bottom right hand-side of the Unit. ( viewed from the front ) You may then have to re-set up the device, after a hard-reset.
look here for more info:-

My ipaq 2750 has frozen on ProtectTools screen. I have activesync installed but it wont even recognise the cradle device

There's a chapter called 'Resetting your HP iPAQ' on your device's User Manual. Firstly, perform a soft reset. If it doesn't solve your problems, jump to the hard reset procedure. If it still doesn't do the job, then, perform the clean reset procedure.
Just in case you happen to miss its manual, you can download it from this location.

Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
Cheers! Carlos

I dropped my black berry 8100 pearl and now it wont turn on, the red light will come on half way then full, but it still wont turn on.

This might be the Hardware issue you need to walk into the service center to check the hardware of your Handheld.
Thank you for using Fixya.

My hp ipaq wont start

To do a full reset, you hold the calendar and itask buttons (buttons 1 and 4) down at the same time, then insert the stylus into the little hole on the bottom and press gently. Hold all for 4 seconds. The screen should begin to fade. Now release all. If successful, you will not be able to start the machine by pressing the on button. You will have to reconnect to ac power to start it.

That is all there is to it.

Camera wont work.

this is hardware problem not firmware ... not need to master reset or update firmware ... Just check at back of your P1i ... press softly/sense the camera part with your finger if the lense can be shake/unfixed then press softly the upper part of the camera .. the try open the camera application to take a photo shoot ... try & try again ... the bring your camera to service center ... ask to fix the camera position ... have a try ... How do you know your infrared does'nt work?
You might be using it with another format so the phone wont recognise it.

SD card failure...Help!

Have you tried resetting the iPAQ? I would remove the SD card and perform a soft reset (the little hole on the bottom) then re-insert the SD card and see if it detects. Give it a try and let me know what happens.
