Question about Computers & Internet
Go into device manager to see if the modem is in the list (it should be),if you see a yellow exclamation mark next to it ,it means their is a problem with it .if so right click on it and select re install driver or update driver, this may fix the problem
go into control panel ,double click modem icon, then select modems tab, you should see your modem in the list .
(if not the driver has not been installed or modem has died) ,
if you see it,
double click it and then press query modem,another box should open and it will show what functions the modem has or does not have ,
if you see this ,then the modem is physically ok
