When printing in moist climate or conditions, be sure to fan your paper before loading printer. Also set your paper guide so that the paper does not pull in on an angle.

How can I do a 2 sided print

DOUBLE SIDED PRINTING USING A SINGLE SIDED PRINTER
If your printer does not have a duplex unit then the printer cannot print double sided pages automatically.
You can print double sided pages but you have to do it one page at a time.
First print Page 1 then place the page back into the paper tray, but turn the page upside down and the print Page 2.
Then print page 3 on one side then page 4 on the other side and repeat for the rest of the document.
I suggest you try a test page first, to get the printing the right way up on both sides of the page so it reads correctly.

Is there a known problem with the HP J4680 and IE8?

The problem is usually with the web site being printed. Various website designers use different methods to create their pages. Some use tables and frames which present a problem for the print software.

1) Wherever possible, look for a "Printer Friendly" version of the web page

2) Failing this, from the IE print icon drop-down box (down arrow) choose "Print Preview" > Click Page Setup icon (gear icon) > Select page settings of your choice. Try printing by clicking the printer icon.

3) When encountering a webpage created with frames: Click IE print icon drop-down box (down arrow) choose "Print Preview" > Click Page Setup icon (gear icon) > Select "As laid out on screen" or "All frames individually" or "Only selected frame". Try printing by clicking the printer icon.

I hope this information was helpful.

HP PSC 1315 Prints test page every time printer is installed

Hi Jay,
This is mike, actually the problem is that that printer has not completed the aligning process, as a result the printer is printing the test page (Alignment page) every time when you turn it ON. So, I would suggest you to let the printer prints the alignment page and check whether the printer prints the page with all colors and it printed fine, once it is done, disconnect the USB cable behind the printer and then place the alignment page on the scanner glass by facing down the printed page downwards and press the scan button. This start the alignment process and the scanning process will be completed once the ON light is stop blinking. This will complete the alignment process.

Once done try to turn off and turn on the printer and check for the result. This should resolve the issue.

However, if the issue persist, then please revert back to me. Be sure that you use the HP genuine ink cartridges, not refilled nor re-manufacture.

Every time I print, the printer feeds an extra blank page after every printed page. How do I get it to stop this?

I have an HP D7360 Photosmart that has been doing the exact same thing. This has been driving me crazy, especially when I have to print a lot of pictures at once or a long report.
After uninstalling and reinstalling the printer a dozen times, installing every possible driver I could find for it, and even swapping out the USB cable (who knows...stranger things have been the cause of problems!!), I just found the fix for this.
Go to the Properties page of the printer (for mine, I open the printer, click "Printer", then select "Properties"), then go to the Advanced tab. At the bottom are a few checkboxes, one of them being "Enable advanced printing features". I unchecked this and do not have the problem with the extra page.
I am not really sure, at this point, what else may be turned off, but just printed a test page and WOOOHOO...no more blank page came out right after it.
Hope this helps you and that the "advanced printing features" aren't something that negatively impacts your and my ability to print quality pictures and documents.
I love this printer otherwise. Amazing picture quality!!!

Kyocera 3900 dn, is there a way to speed it up?

1.install the latest print driver; see if the rip/spool time is long or the printing time is long. The rip time depends by your computer (!) and the print driver (disable the collate option when printing multiple copies of 1 page = on the printer you should see 1/5 spit a page then 2/5 and spit another page for 5 copies of same page. If you see processing the spit the page then processing and spit the page means your computer is sending 5 times the same page instead of sending once and ask for 5 copies !!! )
2.use network connection instead the USB.
3.expand the printer memory
4.switch the printer from PCL to KPDL or Auto when printing pdf files.

Double sided printing Pixma MP520

here's how:

print double sided pages

1. Set your computer software for double sided printing if you have a printer that is compatible. Double sided printers are generally professional style machines, and most offices, schools and libraries will have them. On a PC, go to the drop down "File" menu and select "Double Sided Printing" under the "Preferences" or "Properties" window and print. If you have a MAC, click "Copies and Pages" under the "File" menu, select "Layout" and then click on "Long-Edged Binding" and print.
2.Print double sided with your standard home printer, again, by setting your PC writing software. When you are ready to print, click on the drop down "File" menu and select "Print." From the "Print" window select "odd pages only," or "even pages only."
3.Set your odd and even pages a bit differently if you are working with MAC writing software. Select "Print" from the drop down "File" menu and click on the arrow to drop the "Copies & Pages" menu. Under the "Copies & Pages" menu, select "Paper Handling" and then click on "Odd Numbered Pages" or "Even Numbered Pages."
4.Select "Odd Pages Only" or "Odd Numbered Pages" and then print as usual. It is a good idea to mark the top of your first page with a pencil so that you know the direction and side of the page your printer prints. Use the mark to determine how to turn your pages and place them back in the printer. Select "Even Pages Only" or "Even Numbered Pages" and print again. $('.Article .Steps .Image').each(function(i,e){ e = $(e); e.find('img').error(function(){ $(this).unbind(); e.remove(); }); });

sound like u have setting problem with either the program your printing from or the driver. It could be set to print 2 copies of print job. If your using windows XP there a printer driver in there for the printer. If your using an older version of windows you can used HP laserjet II driver. HP always made there printers to be able to print with LJ II driver.
