Question about Washing Machines
Sorry, I didn't know which washer you had. I don't know anything about a Blomberg, as they don't sell them here in the states. :(
This a front load machine, right? If it makes a growling noise when you spin the empty basket by hand, it's probably the rear shell bearing. Not something for a non-professional to tackle.
The only other possibility is, if there's something caught along the front edge you'll be able to tell by the non-uniform grinding noise as you rotate the tub back and forth.
Hope the bad news doesn't alter the quality of the answer! :)
