I have programmed hundreds of these. The radio may be receiving, but the speaker may be muted. If using a hand mic, have the mic "off hook" or ungrounded and try again. Does the front light flash while the radio is receiving? This indicates the radio is "hearing", just not passing the audio to the speaker. Is there something plugged into the audio jack in the back? Let me know. In 20-30 minutes most shops familiar with Vertex will know exactly what is happening.
16 bit sound cards usually have 3 pin out or jack on the card, one is line in, one is line out and one is for the mic.
the line out is used for your computer speakers, plug in the green colored jack from your speaker into the line out jack and you hear whatever your playing on your computer, ie: music TV or internet broadcasts. You may have to set up the device or software settings that you are using before it properly gets the sound to go through your speakers. Some compatible or Creative Labs emulator cards have five pin outs, these are for a more sophisticated sound system like 5.1 or higher. These jacks have 3 outgoing jacks. One for center speaker then one for front and one for rear. a 6.1 system card may have a side speaker out jack also.
The CT5803 is a Creative card that was made by Creative Labs for Dell, it typically has 3 jacks. one for your speakers to plug into one for your mic to plug into and one for you to plug into an inbound sound source **** as an MP3 player. If this is not what you are talking about please re post your question and possibly clarify the information that you are trying to obtain.
So, you don't want to use the TV speakers, right? Hook your PS3 audio output RCA jacks to the input on the amplifier and hook the PS3 video cabe to the yellow (orange) video input of the TV. Then hook your speakers to the front or rear outputs of the amp and the sub to the sub output of the amp. If you want to use your TV speakers, you can connect them to the front or back output of the amp for a 4.1 setup. OK?
The little white plug sounds like the audio connector. Most usually you do not have to hook this wire up. The sata connection from the drive to the mobo should take care of everything. Most usually this plug in is for connection directly to a after market sound card. The little black plug coming from the media bay you speak of sounds like the front side usb connector. It may also include the front mic and headphone jack. Please check to see if the black plug actually attaches to the front of the pc near the power buttons.
Open battery compartment located at the back of both speakers and remove wires.
Replace battery covers.
Connect DUAL PLUG CONNECTOR on left speaker to right speaker at connection marked "TO LEFT SPEAKER."
Connect remaining wire with 3.5mm plug to headphone jack on your audio source.
Connect AC adapter (not included) to back of left speaker at
connector marked "DC 6V." Plug remaining end of AC adapter into wall
outlet. Be sure your AC adapter is built with the center pin as ("-")
negative. Connect remaining wire with 3.5mm plug to the headphone jack
on your audio source.
Turn ON/OFF switch at back of right speaker to "ON."
Set "INPUT SELECTOR" switch to audio source.
Turn on audio source
Adjust sound in the following ways: Turn volume control to desired
level; push Bass Boost button located on right speaker to "ON" for
added bass; push Treble Boost button on right speaker to "ON" for added
treble
Operating a microphone through your speakers require an
additional 3.5mm plug to 3.5mm plug cable (included). Connect cable
with 3.5mm straight plug to right speaker at input marked "MIC" on back
of speaker. Plug the remaining 3.5mm L--plug into the mic input on
audio source. Connect your microphone to the front of your speakers at
"MIC" input (microphone not included)
Hope you have all of the skinny you need, good luck, please leave a rating, thank you kindly
It is my hope that I can help. This applies to the type of sound card on your PC.
- If you have a 2-channel sound card: Select 2 on the source selector switch on the subwoofer. Connect the green plug from the audio input cable to tyhe front jack on your PC sound card. With this input setting, your speakers will upmix the 4-channel signal and create a center signal for your speakers.
- If you have a 4-channel sound card: Select '4' on the source selector switch on the subwoofer. Connect the colored jacks on the audio input cable to the jacks on your PC sound card, making sure to match the colors.
- If you have a '6'-channel sound card: Select '5-1' on the source selector switch on the subwoofer. Connect the colored jacks on the audio input cable to the jacks on your PC sound card, making sure to match the colors.
Your sound card is located on the back of your PC Tower.
as to your audio the only way for you to get 5.1 is to get a sound card that supports it i think the computer you have only supports 2.1. you can find a cheap sound card at places like tigerdirect or newegg, also try ebay. same goes for your video you need to find one with a tv output.
