also, I am going to bidge this unitand it has Speakon jacks, do I need to buy a y type adapter??

if it's to record the Audio you need some kind of interface analog(RCA ) to usb like the behringer UCA 202 Now if it's to watch or to try to record Audio and Video you need to look at a video capture type of interface composite audio video to interface like the SIIG USB 2.0 Video Capture Device just make sure its compatible with your OS. Now if you try to use it as a Midi controller with program like Serato , Virtual dj ... you are out of luck this system is not compatible .

Ronnie, The numark mixer will not project CD+G graffix on the pc. You can only send the audio from the mixer to the pc. To use karaoke on the pc you need files that re MP3+CDG or CD+G discs. Most karaoke systems only support TVs through a video line usually RCA connections. In order to get video to your PC you need a video card or TV tuner card installed. Most people use it in the reverse having their music files on the PC and then streaming to the mixrer and then the audio speakers.
