Question about KitchenAid KESC300 Electric Kitchen Range
We've had a 6 burner kitchen aid stove (gas and electric)
just recently my husband replaced the porcelain black top because it was all scratched..etc. We ordered the part and he did it himself.
Now, we've noticed that once I use any of the larger burners 1x, and I shut it off and go to use it again within a 10 minute period or so, the gas goes on but there is no clicking to ignite it again.
When you are having trouble igniting that one burner, have you tried the other burners?
If they're all the same - i.e. none of them will work at any particular time, that's the spark module.
If some work while one or more don't, that's the burner switches under the knobs.
I doubt this has anything to do with your husband's previous repair; that is, unless you find one of these wires pinched inside.
