If your trying from work, your company may have the server blocked. Where I work, yahoo email is blocked.

Someone has hacked my e-mail and is sending my contacts e-mails like they are coming from me. What can I do?

You have to report the error to the company hosting the email, for eg. Yahoo or Hotmail. You can do this by creating a new email and writing them a mail. Or go through their main webpages and click on the contact us tab.

good luck

I recieve late mails,like recieving yesterdays mail today,thats all,thanks

Thats not a problem with your laptop, in fact you can't do anything about it because its the problem with the server of the Email service you are using. I think you should try making an email account on any site other than the one your are using right now.
Hope this helps, Please feel free to ask me any further.

This is question for your e-mail provider, who ever you are using. It may also NOT be a problem on your end but on the sender's end.

Aspire one email is recieving the same email repeatedly

I am assuming that this is a new problem and that your email worked properly before this.
If your email was not completely downloaded it will not be deleted from your isp's mail server so the next time you check mail everything will be downloaded again.

Try going to your isp's web mail access. It is usually found on your isp's website. Delete all the mail you have already received on your Aspire. That should lighten the load so when you check mail again with the Aspire it will all download and then be removed from the server.

If your email has never worked properly on this computer you probably need to configure the setting in your email program that says some thing like 'remove emails from server after downloading'. It is usually a check box.
