It's actually kinda trivial but I've been given an old mp3player from a friend who upgraded. The thing is our taste in music is drastically different, so what I want to do is delete all of the music...

To delete the music files off the MP3 player, connect the supplied USB cable to the P3 player and then plug it into the USB port in your computer. The computer will detect the MP3 player as an external storage device. You can open the music folder and select and delete the music files just like deleting unwanted files off your hard disk.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

have you tried draggin and dropping the pictures into your mp3player's disk (pops up in My Computer when you plug in you player). try looking around for a photos folder in it or something like that.

Open My Computer,
Open 'Insignia' or other file relative to brand
go into the 'music' folder\

Then open the folder where youre music files are stored
(My Documents, My Music)

Then drag files from one to the other.

Hope that helped

Usually, the drive has a small circle in the middle of it... just lightly put the disk in that spot and close... thats how it works =)

Failes to detect mp3player

If you are using Windows 95, the player is not supported. If you are using Windows 2000 or XP, it will show the player as MTP player. If the MTP is not shown on My Computer, install the player as removable disk (use Device Manger, find the device connected, right-click on the player icon, and click Update Driver).
