I have two laptops at home. 1 works online but the other one doesn't.It is linked up to the internet but it can't display the web pages. any suggestions how to fix this.
Not a lot of info to go on, but I'll make some suggestions that I hope will help. Without knowing your internet hookup, one way to track things down is to swap out both computers, and see if you have the same problem, or whatever the case. If the problem is the same, then you know it's a software problem on the 2nd computer, and may have to update IE to version 8, or maybe check the settings in Network in the Control Center. You may have a bad line if you're hardwired to the 2nd computer, or maybe a wireless setting needs to be tweeked. All I can think of for now, hope this helps, and good luck.
Yes - you shold connect it to the same network (LAN or WIFI of a same router that is giving your internet access to your first laptop)
