Sound Problem While listen any music or watching movie, some times the CPU usage goesabove 52% and the sound interputed. Some times its playing mp3 filesfrom HDD too slow while copying some other files in my folder to folder. Whythis happen? I do┬┤nt know whats to do? I have reinstalled my OS. change the hard drive and nothing. I have reinstalled my sound driver from install CD. But still i have the sound problem. I cant get the clear sound, onlyinterputed sound. i dont have any issue with my speaker. please help?

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer

Dear sir/mam i have a pc (pentium-3) with 18 gb


Hi just go to start then click run then write dxdiag then click ok. Then the DirectX diagnostic tools will show up,then click sound,then tab "Test Direct Sound" to check the sound is there. Click also the music then check the music.Feel free to ask whatever the result. Hope it may helps.

Sound card not working


I would start by replacing the driver for the sound card. After that I would replace the card itself inside the PC.

Cpu overclocking


Try this. press ctrl-alt-delete to view your task manager. Click the processes tab. From the list of items, look at CPU and Mem Usage to see what all is running.

Sound problem and slower


At 53% your cpu is working too hard. Turn off unecessary startup programs. You can do this through msconfig.Turn off the "C" drives indexing. Check for conflicts in device manager. Make sure that you have the correct and updated sound driver for your audio card.

Did you check the jumper settings for correct positions? Sometimes the 5V regulator IC is the culprit. I have seen it many times
