Changed black cartridge now getting a 990 error

Hi Donna - A couple of follow up questions if I may? - Is the cartrigde that you installed a genuine Ricoh cartridge or is it made by a 3rd party? - Has it been refilled or reconditioned? - Is it definatley the correct cartridge for your printer? - Has all the packaging and tape been removed (sometimes there is a small bit of tape covering the bottom)? Remove options and try again (NOTE: when removing the Postscript board, you must replace the 2 IBM ROMs)

If the printer now works, replace options one at a time to test them

Error 990 refers to the toner capture sensor unit, that black knob looking thing on the toner cartridge itself. I'm betting the error popped up right after changing the toner cartridge?..... therefore, it's a defective toner cartridge.

I'm getting an error code 59.60 on our HP 3015 printer. Last week I had to change the toner cartridge because we were getting a smudge on one side of the print. Could this be related? A bad printer...

Error 59.60 is an issue with the black cartridge motor starting up.
Check that connectors J5006 on the black print-cartridge drive motor and J208 on the driver PCA are seated correctly. Replace the black print-cartridge drive motor. Replace the driver PCA.

Error code 350 error code 990 error code 540

Error code 990 indicates software problems yuo can check in SP7-403 for information.
Error code 540 will proberly indicate some heating trouble in the fix, you have to reset the machine with service code SP5-810.
Code 350 will disappear if you restart the copier.

I replaced the ink waste tank on my Ricoh GX3000 - then it asked for new yellow ink cartridge and I replaced that. Now I have an error code 990 and I can't get rid of it.

bonjour,
allume ton imprimante,puis retire toutes tes cartouches.
eteint l'imprimante.
rallume l'imprimante et remet les cartouches.
le code d'erreur 990 indique de l'air dans les tuyaux.
ça devrait marcher!
