Question about Meiko FV 40.2 Dishwasher

1 Answer

Our Meiko keeps popping up with error's 203 and 304

We can't seem to find any information or schematic of the unit to try and fix it. Can anyone help to explain what's going on and let me know where I might be able to find parts breakdown of this unit.

We turn the machine on and error #304 pops up. The units almost up to Temperature but doesn't quite make it. A day or two before this was happening error #203 had popped up a couple times. The operations manual states the reasons for some other errors but not these.

At the moment I can't even get to error 203 until I get past error 304. I was told that err. 304 was the Heating element which I've just replaced and still can't get past 304 in order to fix 203, if it even happens to pop back up. Do you have any other thoughts about error 304?

the code ERR203 means that there was no change detected at the boiler
level switch during emptying- be it on the fill or rinse cycle.
    This
fault is mostly caused by the booster pump failing to pull water but
could also be caused by blocked rinse jets or a faulty boiler level
    switch.
Hope this info is of use to you ,

Error 211, 212!!!

Hi Antonyo,
The codes you are getting (211- 212) relate to the boiler tank behind front panel.

210 Temperature probe short circuit Check probe cable (plug contacts)
Replace probe(rinse tank)
Install probe correctly

211 Temperature sensor interruption See 210

212 Actual boiler temperature too high Contactor welded
Incorrect sensor / defective sensor
Check probe / cable (Contact plug II XA5)

Hope this helps ,regards KIT

Hi, i work on these machines on a regular basis and until very recently i was a Meiko service engineer- the code ERR203 means that there was no change detected at the boiler level switch during emptying- be it on the fill or rinse cycle.
