Question about Zoom X6 (5590) DSL Modem (55900003)
Just recently my internet connection suddenly stopped. The "Link" light on my Zoom ADSL X6 Modem just continuously blink. It appears the modem is trying to establish internet connection but it's not getting through. I've read through the manual. I've checked and recheck all wires and connections. I've called my ISP, they seem to not be able to diagnose the problem. I've tried logging into the Admin area to re-establish connection somehow, but that proved to unsuccessful. Is the problem the modem or is it the ISP end of it? Is there a solution to this problem?
The modem may have gone faulty so if your isp provided it ask them to replace it if the modem is in warranty period and if your isp provides internet connection through the phone line then first please try plugging the modem on main socket in with an adsl filter plugged in and if this is not the case then problem is definately the line through which the broadband signal come to your place which is suppose to be sorted out by your isp.
