We have a Lexmark T642 all worked fine but we put in compatible one 64035HA toner and we get 929 error stating "Service Sensor is On". At some point, before we turned off the printer we where able to get one page at a time.

The main cause of light print is a bad set of charge and transfer rollers. These rollers are used to put a charge on the paper and transfer the toner to the charged paper. When the rollers get worn out they can not put the proper electrical charge on the paper so the toner does not stick to it as it should. One roller sits under the toner cartridge and on is on top on the cartridge. If you pull out the toner and look inside the printer you will see the transfer roller and if you start to close the lid with the toner out you will see the charge roller come into view. Here are pictures of each one. Transfer roller first.
The 202.16 error indicated that something is covering the exit sensor in the fuser assembly while the printer is warming up. This usually is caused by a piece of paper being left after a paper jam. First open the top of the printer and remove the toner cartridge, look inside for a piece of paper, if found remove it. put the toner back in and close the cover and press the "check" button to clear the error. If no paper is found then open the back of the printer and look for a piece of paper in the fuser assembly there, if found remove it. If you find a piece of paper in the fuser you will need to press the "check" button to clear the error and resume printing.
Switch off the printer and let the printer cool down. Then on the front of the printer open the release latchand lower the multipurpose feeder then open the top cover by releasing the latch. You will be able then to pull out the print catridge. Hope this helps.
this error is a scanner lost lock error and can be caused by the scanner or the logic board. if this error comes up immediately on power up the scanner motor is not initializing by percentages of failure the scanner is approximately 85% the logic board 15% i would change the scanner
This error indicates that there is a charging problem with the transfer roller. You could start by cleaning the contacts for the transfer roller (power off printer first). The transfer roller is the black foam-like roller under the toner cartridge. Handle it with paper because the oils on your hand could damage it. To remove it, just pry under the far left side with a screwdriver. Lift and pull to the left to remove. If this does not fix it, then you have a more serious problem. It could be one of the arms or the HVPS.
