Cant activate my samsung galaxy s4 mini with us cellular

US Cellular is a CDMA network. Maybe your Galaxy S4 is for a GSM network? GSM phones have a SIM cards and these need to be changed to activate them on another GSM network as well as the GSM phone being unlocked to do this. In USA only T- Mobile & AT & T run GSM networks. Outside of USA most networks are GSM. There are four GSM frequency bands which vary in use by country. The S4 if it is a GSM phone, being an high level phone would be a quad band phone, so it will work anywhere. Cheaper phones may only have Dual Band and therefore only work in the countries with the matching frequency bands.

it will automatically change to the band frequency that is being used by the sim card. There's no need to set it manually as long as your phone support that frequency. Be sure that in India there is a network provider the will work for your type of sim.

No signal

you need to remember that V3 razr are Quad band phones meaning that they have 4 bands 850/900/1800/1900mhz, you need to go to the network setting change it from automatic to manual and change the frequency to the correct one that you mobile provider works on...that should correct the phone problem.

No service

1. Check with someone who's on the same network to make sure there is a service locally (and that it isn't the cell base that has gone down). 2. Try turning the phone off, then back on again. 3. Have a flick through the phone settings menu. Make sure the phone hasn't been set to the wrong band (GSM 900 and 1800 don't usually work in the US). Find the network selection menu. It should normally be set to "Auto". If it isn't, change it so it is. If it already is, set it to manual, let it search for networks, then select your own. If that works, try it on auto again. If none of that works, I think you will probably have to take the phone into a dealer for a more in-depth look. A.
